Hello, Fellow Optimists! Greetings from beautiful, historic Boston. I’m Bert Jacobs, Chief Operating Optimist, here to let you know some of the great things we’ve achieved in the spirit of Optimism.
MISSION
Our mission here at Life is Good has always been to spread the power of Optimism. Each and every day, we promote good vibes throughout our product lines, our non-profit Playmakers, and our community of optimists.
MILESTONES
Last year we achieved 2 huge milestones that would NOT have been possible without your help:
FACEBOOK
First, we’re more than one million optimists strong—and growing—thanks. to our Facebook fans worldwide, who gave a big thumb’s up to optimism and who continue to fuel all we do.
NON-PROFIT PLAYMAKERS
And secondly, with your support of the Playmakers, we raised over ONE MILLION dollars—thank you—at our Life is Good Music Festival, helping kids overcome poverty, violence, and illness.
You’ve played it forward: promoting the Playmakers cause through word of mouth, through fundraising, and through selling, where every Life is Good purchase made helps a child find joy again.
To date, Playmakers have raised over 7.5 million dollars and made over 135,000 kids stronger, transforming their lives with very good vibes. All of you have helped make the Festival THE event for music and art with heart.

3 incredibly important words for everything we do here at Life is Good. And speaking of SIMPLICITY, that just so happens to be our theme here for the next season.
See, in our modern world of digitally-drenched, hyper-multi-tasking, i-Everything, it’s easy to be tuned-in, but not turned on. But when you download good vibes, you see the BEAUTY in Simplicity.
Whether it’s old-school entertainment like a sled ride, hand-writing a letter, or a morning run with your dog—this is the simple stuff that life’s made of. We chose the Simplicity theme because here at Life is Good, we’ve always been inspired by the simple pleasures that help all of us slow down and savor the moment.
