IDEA 

Monster is on a mission to help job seekers and employers simply “Find Better®” – connecting people and job opportunities through some of our innovative technology solutions, tools, and services. This was a great opportunity to show the Red Sox how some of our products can quickly sift through thousands of resumes and narrow the search and reduce the amount of time it takes to find that next great talent. With Boston being the epicenter of all things sports, the Red Sox wanted to make a splash with this amazing opportunity. Utilizing Monsters site, reach, resources and creativity, it was a perfect match.
EXECUTION 

On Nov. 11, 2013, the Boston Red Sox and Monster announced that Brett Miller, a Centreville, Va., native, had been hired as the first member of the club's inaugural Rotational Business Initiative (RBI). Brett was found through Monster and its 'Cool Jobs' program, which screened more than 55,000 applications for the new position. Utilizing sports related sites, social media (along with a Foursquare campaign) we put this opportunity front and center of our target audience. With more than 55,000 applicants for this role, Monster was instrumental in navigating the pool of applicants and helping with evaluations,” said Red Sox Senior Vice President/Corporate Sponsorships Troup Parkinson. “We look forward to working with Brett, and thank Monster for their help finding the right candidate for this position.”
