Recruiting Software Demonstration
The Monster sales team was looking for a fun way to break the ice with a ballroom full of recruiting executives during a Las Vegas conference. The recruiters were invited to see a demonstration of Monster’s 6Sense candidate search software.
To liven up the evening and tee up the demonstration, the Monster creative team designed a game modeled after the kid’s classic “Go Fish” card game. At the event, each table received an oversized deck of cards to play a hand of “Go Fish for Talent.” The object of the game is to match job requisitions with the appropriate candidates. Just like Go Fish, the player at each table with the most books of matching cards wins the game.
The game was designed to be a lighthearted illustration of the time-consuming nature of candidate recruitment. After the game, the guests were given a demonstration of Monster’s search software and discovered that they could match candidates with jobs in a fraction of the time needed by more traditional candidate recruiting tools.
